Bariatic surgery procedure is performed on persons suffering from obesity. In this procedure, the patient's waist size is reduced by dividing stomach and redirecting the small intestine to it, which boost the nutrition absorption pattern with metabolic rate. This procedure includes two steps, first the separation of the top layer of the stomach from the rest of the stomach, thus creating a 30 mm stomach pouch and then the first portion of the small intestine is divided & bottom portion of it is connected to the stomach pouch. Further, the top divided portion of the small intestine is reconnected to the bottom small intestinal part (that is connected to the new stomach pouch) so that stomach acid and digestive enzymes from separated or bypassed stomach portion & top portion of small intestine get mixed with the food in the new stomach pouch.
